MICROSOFT’s KIN STUDIO
In 2009, a project aptly named Kin Studio was launched. A small team of six designers built a desktop interface that extended the Kin mobile device, centered around a linear timeline that dynamically populated user content. This design system earned a U.S. patent for its functionality and became an early pioneer in cloud technology by seamlessly pairing a mobile device with a user-friendly desktop experience. Designers: Neil Cueto, Paul Rybicki, Sean Lazzo, Mark Gamab and myself.
